Living Art
THE PORTFOLIO
Tranquil expressions of colour and form
We welcome you to explore our work and to learn more about the elements that shape our creations.
About
OUR WORK
"I want to do with you what spring does with cherry trees." Pablo Neruda
We merge our love for nature and for artistic expression in our work. Our aim is to fill you with wonder and unfaltering love for plant life. So we decided to do that thing artists do with commonly available paints. That thing musicians do with notes! We do that with plants. We create living bouquet-like compositions to enhance the aesthetics of a given space.

We also work on open grounds as well as tiled space. Residential and commercial. Indoor and outdoor. Horizontal, vertical ....anywhere everywhere!!

And we offer workshops for kids combining art lessons with gardening at Gardenia. We would be delighted to conduct it at a location of your choice may it be a school or a township.

We are teeming with ideas and always on the look out for collaborations.

The Elements
THE PLANTS
We use all kinds of plants. We simply love them all. Be it flowering ones or foliage. Native or otherwise. And we have a special kinda love for cacti and succulents.
We hand pick plants when purchasing as opposed to bulk buying. We then put in the care to have them reveal their healthiest selves. They are then placed in their new homes and allowed to set for up to 3 months before sale.
THE POTS
The pots are usually terracotta or ceramic. We do however like to improvise to create unusual displays. This requires one to keep an open mind. In this realm any material goes!!
The terracotta pots are usually custom made well in advance by our favourite potter Shashi of Maati.
While the ceramic pieces are usually off the cuff purchases from various sources.
THE COMPOSITIONS
The elements within a composition may be analogous or contrasting. It is essentially a dance of form, texture and colour. Each piece tends to be unique.
We usually opt for neutral shades when painting terracotta pots. It ensures the composition blends well with a range of backgrounds, may it be marble flooring, painted walls, or earthy tones of stone. However we also love creating flambouyant pieces to function as the focal point within a space
